Ditch water at the door of a slab house, tide water along the Intracoastal, a burst line in a villa: call South Florida Restoration Co for any of it. That goes for all of Boynton Beach and the developments out west on Boynton ZIP codes.

It usually takes several days of rain, not one storm. With the district canals that carry rain to the Lake Worth Lagoon near the top and the ground soaked, the neighborhood ditches have nowhere to drain, so water sits in the swales and creeps toward houses for a day or more. Water that gets inside carries whatever it crossed, which makes it flood cleanup: the drywall, carpet and pad it reached come out, then the slab and walls are cleaned and dried.
East of US 1, Coquina Cove and other low streets along the Intracoastal take water in the highest tides as well as in rain. That water is brackish, so soaked drywall and wood get washed down before drying, or the salt keeps them damp.
Much of the housing here, out to the gated and 55+ communities in the west, is 1970s and 1980s houses, villas and townhouses. In attached villas one roof and attic often cover several units and the walls between them are shared, so a leak rarely stays in the unit where it started. The usual inside sources at that age are garage water heaters, washer hoses and toilet supply lines. If the unit next door is empty, management or the association usually has keys and knows where the shutoffs are.
For water from upstairs or next door, start with a leak coming from the unit above.
Boynton Beach mailing addresses run past the city limits and the Turnpike, and those homes are covered too. Don’t see your ZIP? Call anyway and we’ll check your address.
When you call, say how the water got in: street or ditch, tide, or a pipe, roof or fixture. That decides whether the job starts with tear-out or goes straight to drying.

FAQ
Yes. In villas built under one roof, water that gets in at the roof can run along the attic and come down through either unit's ceiling, sometimes farther from the leak than you'd expect. Both ceilings and the insulation above them get checked, even if only one shows a stain.
Yes. Boynton Beach ZIP codes reach well west of the city into the gated and 55+ communities out past the Turnpike, and those addresses are covered on the same line.
Treat it that way. When the ground and the lines are full of storm water, the sewer can back up through a ground-floor drain like the shower. Stop using water, keep people out of the room and call, because anything it soaked is handled as contaminated.
